Hi, this is a information from Ogamo Rebecca Teele (from the USA), a Licensed Instructor (Shihan) of the Kongoh Noh.

She studies Noh and Noh mask carving with Master Actor UDAKA Michishige.
In 1996 she became the first foreigner to become a member of the Noh Association.
She is the Associate Director of the International Noh Institute and is involved in teaching utai (Noh chant), shimai (Noh dance), and mask carving and lecturing on Noh.

Udaka-sensei and his sons will be performing FUTARI SHIZUKA and MIDARE and the Kyogen KURIYAKI will also be performed.

INI members prepare printed synopses about the plays in English, French, German and Italian so this will be a Noh performance that will be easy for foreigners to understand.
