Then かわいいAnnaかわいい introduced herself, and conveyed the attractions of her country by showing its beautiful photos or explained its festivals and ceremonies for all four seasons.ぴかぴか(新しい)

When Anna talked about "Viking" in Sweden's history,
one of our member asked her about "バイキング料理(buffet)", but she never knows....hhh

Report of April's English club with travel lovers from Quebec♫

Hi, there. It’s me, kumi from EU association.
I experienced my first MC in April’s English club with your (much)support. Thanks.
To my surprise & happiness, we had many participants on this day.

First we briefly introduced ourselves, and then talked about the theme of "Which country was your best destination ever, or most attractive for future trips?"
In other words, this question means “Where is your favorite country or place?”(wow, it’s way to easy!)
Everyone has own episode and memory….it made me feel somehow nostalgia…^^?

The guest was Ms. France Vincent and Mr.Pierre Mercille from Montreal of Quebec, Canada.
Montreal, yes it is “French Canada” and their first language is (of course) French, but they also handle English very well.
In our club activities, we can see many countries which the multi-languages distinction works well compared to Japan.

Well, they’re on the way to the trip to several countries such as America, Japan, Korea, China, Russia…..for two month mainly by train.
They’ve visited various countries ever, and those episodes were so intriguing such as Pierre-san’s past travel by Siberian railway.
We also talked/discussed our future travel-dreams, Canada’s language policy, politics, gun control… etc….
It was a convivial evening with various topics.

Next English club is planned on 8th May.かわいい
Why not join us and give us your episode of Golden-Week holidays!

Latin-American Studies (Universidad Nacional de México D.F. -UNAM).
Born in Spain. Lived many years in Mexico: researching in a Third
World Development Center; later, working for publishing houses and
universities -editor and translator; mostly, free-lance. I lived some
periods in Italy, England, Brazil. I have travelled in many countries
of Europe, America, Asia.
I love literature, to read about many different topics: history,
psychology, essays, novels, traveller books… I have written a few
things also. I like cinema (good, independent… not the basic
entertainment industry product), theatre, music (classic, jazz); arts,
in general (painting, sculpture); psychology, yoga; nature and
animals; walking -in the cities, but even more in the countryside.
I enjoy a long conversation/chat, even better with good food and wine.
I am curious about almost everything, always interested in learning,
knowing more. Travelling is the biggest, richest experience in my life
-I have made excellent friends in this way. Travelling is the fastest
and most effective way to learn, know people; and destroy prejudices,
false assumptions.
Regards:
María"
